Danish Beekeeper wins CA-lotto
Thor J∅rgensen, 37, won 5 million dollars Friday morning with a lottery ticket bought at a San Diego university.
Thor, a professional beekeeper, bought one ticket at the campus using numbers based on his bee’s flight patterns. J∅rgensen plans on donating a portion of his winnings to rainforest charities. He wants to travel the world visiting exotic animals and venture into poker.
Thor was raised in Denmark and left in the woods at a young age and does not want to help out his parents. He was used to a secluded lifestyle with his dog, Xandrax, farming his bee patch for honey but his life has changed with his first lottery ticket purchase. The first thing he plans to do is visit the San Diego Zoo.
