Danish Beekeeper wins CA-Lotto

Thor J∅rgensen,37, won $5 million Friday with a lottery ticket bought at a San Diego university.

The professional beekeeper purchased his ticket at the University of California, San Diego Sunshine Store and has big plans with the prize money.

J∅rgensen is hoping to share the money with people and animals. The nature-loving Scandinavian will donate all of his winnings to dog shelters, since he has been surrounded by canines from when he was left alone in the wild at the age of two.

“I have always been real happy living in the wild,” said J∅rgensen.

The lucky man claims to have picked the chosen numbers with the help of his beloved bees.
