Thor Jørgensen won $5 million through the California lottery on Friday morning. The 37-year-old Danish tourist bought the winning ticket at the Sunshine Store on the UCSD campus.
[...] Now a beekeeper, Jørgensen plans to use his winnings to travel and buy new equipment for his bees. He wants to donate the rest to charities involving the protection of animals and the rainforest.
